After 14 years as the head of the vitamin department at a nutrition store, I had access to various protein powders. In looking at the ingredients of Premier Protein, the balance of protein, carbs and fats, this protein mix is balanced with the nutrients and the right amount of protein (30 grams) that is truly digestable. I’ve always fought with different brands having a good flavor and texture when getting Protein Powder.Some protein powders have a Chalky texture or a not so good flavor.So far, this powder has both good flavor and nice texture, not chalky or anything. I have a Bullet Equivalent, so I put in my milk, powder and mix it up, it does pretty good but aerates it even more causing it to be a little foamy so if you don’t like that, just mix it up with a spoon or a whisk then drink.I’ll recommend this for anyone needing some extra protein in their diet and looking for a good flavor and texture to their shakes.

Middle of the road powder
I am very slowly working my way through every protein powder on Amazon, and I’m about ten years into doing so. This is a typical powder – not too sweet, not chalky, no protein bitterness, mixes relative thin, no gastro issues. It could probably be a bit more chocolaty, I wouldn’t mind that, but it’s not a major issue. Middle of the road.I use protein for maintenance, not bulking, and this supports the setts well. I always mix my shake with 5g creatine and 5g psyllium husk, and about 12oz of water in a 21oz shaker cup. It could do with being thicker, but that can be accomplished via adding less water. Letting it sit doesn’t seem to appreciably affect thickness. It mixes readily in the shaker cup with a wire ball, I only occasionally have extra powder up in the lid, and rarely have clumps so long as I mix it within 60s of adding the powder to the cup. Since I add psyllium fiber, my shake is more prone to clumping, I doubt it would be much of an issue with the powder alone.It’s a decent value in terms of protein per dollar, usually I go for 5lb tubs but this beat them $/g protein at the time of purchase. It’s also nice to have three separate containers, so the other two remain sealed while you are working your way through them. I have a shake 6x week, so my powder doesn’t have time to go off even in the summer, but if you take longer then the individual containers may be more suitable.Basically, if you want a simple protein powder for maintenance and recovery, this is a good choice. It’s a nice little treat without leaving a sugary residue in your mouth, and is a decent value. I’d recommend it.

The only protein powder I enjoy!
WOW, okay so I normally NEVER write reviews but I am really surprised! This is genuinely the only protein powder I’ve had that I actually enjoy the taste. (I have the chocolate one) Even in just plain 2% milk it tastes just like chocolate milk. Now, YES, it still has a little bit of a fiber taste like all protein stuff will have, but honestly its soo easy to look past because its actually nice and sweet but not like grossly sweet which I actually prefer. The only SLIGHT problem I have is its a bit hard to mix really well with just a shaker bottle but I’d assume blending it or having a proper mixing device would make it easier. Honestly take it from a really picker eater, ITS GREAT!

Great price, great taste and the macro nutrients are perfect for my keto lifestyle! I shake it up in a blender bottle with some ice, or use a hand mixer. Tastes just like an iced coffee, packed with protein yet calories and carbs are low, plus it has caffiene!

I really enjoy this product. Itâs the best one out of all the flavours Iâve tried so far. It is fantastic as a smoothie. A good recipe mix would be with coco powder, banana, peanut butter and milk it just so damn good. I also a bit of it in my frother with milk when I have an espresso( double the strength lol) itâs very rich. Anyways overall I would buy this product again. I pray they never change the recipe.

Loved the taste! This protein powder mixed very well and had a nice smooth coffee taste. By far my favourite protein powder Iâve purchased! The only negative for me was I did think it was a little pricey compared to some other protein powders, but the taste was worth the price.
