Customers say

Customers like the quality, mixing, and value of the protein supplement powder. For example, they mention it’s a good source of protein, mixes well in a blender, and is a great value per gram of protein. That said, some disagree on taste, texture, and ease of digestion.

I didn’t know there were such good whey substitutes
I expected some kind of crazy ground dried pea flavor from this. There is no flavor at all. It tastes like flower. When you mix it in water you get a simple flower suspension. You could use it for paper mache if you want. The flavors in Whey protein make me sick to my stomach, and give me indigestion when I work out. This stuff is great. Mix with rice protein for a powerful shake

    Best Pea Protein Powder
This is the best tasting and less chalking protein powder I’ve found. I am still looking for one with less chalkiness but this one will do for now.

    Good for the price
The taste isn’t great, but it isn’t terrible when made into a smoothie. It does create a chalky consistency, but I’ve gotten used to it. Overall, I’m happy with this for the price.

Great product for those looking for a natural alternative!!!
Great product for those looking for a natural alternative!!! I’m 38 years old and I’m always looking of a good protein drink. I found it with Olympian Labs. It has no cholesterol and 4grams of carbs, while packing 25 grams of protein. It doesn’t have the best taste in the world but a spoon of Agave Nectar will rectify that issue. I have to make sure my cholesterol is in check; this product helps me do just that. Compared to what you find at GNC and other stores, the protein powders are packed with cholesterol. Just think if you’re very active, how many drinks you would have to take a day, per week or in a month. That’s a lot of cholesterol on top of what you would normally eat. This product is as natural as it gets and anyone who doesn’t want to pollute their body will appreciate that.

    Company changed the product
    Hello,
I just received a shipment of the «new and improved»
Olympian Labs pea protein in vanilla flavor, that I bought through Amazon.com. As soon as I opened the product and mixed for a drink I noticed a big difference from the protein I used to buy before.
I am hugely disappointed in this new product. I have been using the pea protein for a year now, and I was happy I found a product that tastes good, agrees with me and it’s affordable.
I realized that not only the packaging that has changed, but the taste and ingredients changed too. Not sweet enough, the measuring spoon is bigger( I assume, because all the silicon dioxide that was added to the protein) and the silicon dioxide makes it taste weird and leaves an unpleasant feeling in my mouth. Not to mention that I really have to be careful when pouring, because it gets all over the counter and the air. Silicon dioxide is not a good thing to breath in as everyone knows.
I’m sorry that the product had to be changed, I will have to look for another protein powder, because I will have to return this item to Amazon.
    Sincerely,
    Erika S.

    Great Nutrition, bad taste
I wanted to try this because it has a great amount of protein and limited added ingredients. I gave it an extra star because of that. However, the taste is bad. Not much of a chocolate taste. Also, I believe the sugar alcohol (xylitol) being the second ingredient makes it far too strong. On the positive end, it is pretty smooth and not chalky to me. If you want a good base for plant based protein, this can work if you just look at it as fuel and ignore the taste or be prepared to doctor it up with fruit or something else. I have only tried the chocolate, so I wonder if the vanilla is better.

    My cardiologist recommended pea protein
I was directed by my cardiologist to ditch my wey protein powder and get pea protein powder. I get vanilla and put it in my steel cut oats. It’s tasty

  8. I ordered this thing

    Packed with nutritious pea-ness!
If you love to drink yellow pea, this is the product for you! Joking aside, it took me a long time to find a non-flavored/unsweetened protein powder that was palatable. I’m not generally concerned with artificial sweeteners but prefer a protein powder with the minimum of extraneous ingredients.
I tried hemp protein but it was waaay to gritty, so this was my next test. Yes, it has some pea flavor but it is mild and nutty and easily masked if its mixed with anything. The powder mixes easily and stays suspended well. From what I have read it’s also a borderline «complete protein» – it has all 9 essential amino acids but is relatively low in methionine+cysteine. I’m not worried about that because I am not fully vegetarian and get protein from other sources.
