Good Whey
*Update* After finishing my first tub and immediately reordering I have to admit I am obsessed with the flavor, I guess its an acquired taste and I fell in love with it. I am changing my original 4-star review to 5-stars. My new normal is to add a heaping quarter teaspoon of decaf instant coffee to the milk I mix the powder in with, an absolutely decadent tasting drink.________Original review below________Its mixes pretty well, it doesn’t get lumpy, maybe a bit frothy, but that can be resolved quite quickly.The vanilla taste is definitely weird at first. At first taste it bordered on sickeningly sweet and slightly burnt, like twice roasted and them caramelized vanilla. After a week it started tasting more normal and after a month I am totally fine with the taste now.My favorite is to make make it with milk and then add a splash of black coffee, it actually tastes really good with some coffee added to knock back the sweetness and give it a bit more depth.

Old protein smell at first but then good
The first dozen scoops from the top tasted like old protein, and I’m thinking it was due to some sort of storage issue… Think of leaving your protein container out for a few days, and that terrible smell that exists. It wasn’t to that extent but you could tell there was a slight smell to it at first. As soon as I used up the top layer of protein, that smell immediately went away and the protein was normal.

This product gives me headaches and GI irritation (beware of lots of unnecessary additives!)
I like the taste of the vanilla flavor. It’s little too sweet on its own, but is just right when you blend it with other unsweetened things in a shake. More to the point, I ended my subscription after one purchase because this stuff makes me feel like garbage when used daily. I get headaches and a feeling of GI irritation. All of this goes away if I simply switch to a different whey supplement! Most of the additives are entirely unnecessary. I am generally sensitive to carrageenan and I suspect that this is a major source of the irritation I get. There are so many texturing ingredients in this stuff, dropping the carrageenan (which irritates a lot of people) would probably make no difference. I can feel that there are other things in this stuff that I don’t tolerate as well. All I can say is I’m done with this product!

My Stomach does not Bloat anymore!
I’ve tried many protein brands (Dymatize, ON, Premier, MyProtein, Plant Based Proteins etc.), but my stomach was always bloated. This time, I gave Muscletech a try and ordered this, and I’m loving it! It’s the first protein brand that doesn’t bloat my stomach, even on an empty stomach, and it’s made my life and workouts so much better! It doesnât taste that great but itâs so cheap and the main thing is it does not bloat my stomach!Highly Recommended for anyone with bloating issues with protein power! (Note: It may not work for all the body types, but definitely give it a try!)

i got it since it was a big size and i needed protein powder in bulk. i got it on sale too so i wanted to try it. it tastes just like plain vanilla, i drink with with lactaid milk but its so bland that i honestly wouldnt recommend plain vanilla. it blends easily.pros: bulk sizecons: bland flavoring

The taste is SO awful, like the other review, taste like nail polish. I sincerely doubt if it’s a genuin. It’s just so different from the one I bought from other seller. Even this one got a sticker on the container and says it’s from USA, but still, taste awful.
